This is a large house on a prominent site on Paritai Drive, Orakei, that enjoys extensive views and outlook to the north with views ranging from Rangitoto Island right around to the city of Auckland. The site enjoys all day sun with good northern exposure.

The house is designed around a central two level high atrium space that acts as an internal courtyard for the living and bedroom spaces to gather around. The living spaces primarily occupy the ground floor with the primary living, dining and kitchen areas arranged in a linear fashion to the north with a study and library space located at the western end.
