Sky City Convention Centre was designed on an inner city site between Federal Street and Albert Street, and forms part of the Sky City Entertainment and Hospitality Centre.

It comprises of a range of convention and exhibition spaces, meeting and seminar rooms. It is capable of banqueting 1000 people in a single column free space with associated break out spaces, and major public areas. A separate exhibition space/conference facility is able to be housed simultaneously.        

Comprehensive audio visual facilities together with excellent acoustics and specialist equipment make this venue suitable for a wide variety of functions and events.

Integrated artworks were incorporated into the design and fabric of the building both interior and exterior with major artworks by well known New Zealand artists
