Sky City Grand Hotel was designed on an inner city site between Federal Street and Albert Street, and forms part of the Sky City Convention Centre

It comprises of 300 hotel rooms to a five star quality with a full front of house with a range of restaurants and cafes to serve hotel guests both within the lobby of the hotel and the adjoining Federal Street.

There is a gym and sauna area on Level 7 to serve hotel guests, a day spa is located on the Albert Street frontage for hotel guests as well as members of the public.

The rooms are a mix of predominantly standard sized hotel rooms with a number of suites on the upper floors including 3 Presidential Suites

Integrated artworks were incorporated into the design and fabric of the building both interior and exterior with major artworks by well known New Zealand artists.
